To Whom it May Concern:
International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local Union 595 would like to
have a new sign placed front of our building, with a message center to notify our
membership of any upcoming events or meetings.
There are currently over 2200 members of IBEW Local Union 595. The IBEW needs to
have as many opportunities to notify its members of meetings and upcoming events.
IBEW Local Union 595 operating hours are from 7.00 a.m. to 6.00 p m. — Monday
through Saturday.
IBEW Local Union 595 will only be targeting IBEW members only with our sign
notifications.
IBEW Local Union 595 is located in a business area and has no residential homes in
the surrounding area This sign will have no negative impact to the businesses in the
area with noise, health, or safety.
The new sign will not be visible to any freeway traffic so there should be no effects to
any transportation.

The following is to address the Planning Division comments.
1. Golden Gate Sign will revise.
2. We have revised the plans to reflect all tenants currently in the building
(NCECI and Fire Fighters Local 55) with one space available for a future
tenant that will not be a noticeably with a white panel. (see drawing)
3. The types of messages that we will be posting is meeting reminders such as
General Membership Meetings, Sound and Communications Meetings, and
Executive Board Meetings, we will also include member events reminders
such as IBEW 595 Annual Picnic, IBEW 595 A's Tailgate Party, IBEW 595
Santa at the Hall, and IBEW 595 Old-timers Night.
4. IBEW Local 595 will have a default message to read as follows - Welcome
to International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 595 be sure to
Work Safe.
5. Golden Gate will revise.
6. There is no ground mounted lighting because the new sign will be internally
illuminated.
