FINANCIAL IMPACT: None. RECOMMENDATION: Receive the Report. DESCRIPTION: The Dublin Senior Center offers activities and events that promote healthy livin� for seniors, and the opportunit}� to build ne�u friendships through recreation. The following is a summar�� of the 2016 spring quarter. Suinmary of the Spring Attendance Comparison 'I'he classes showing significant increases in attendance werc Gentic Yoga at 400% and Hcaling Yoga at 20U%. The daily lunch pr.ogram also saw a steady increase in attendance,with 842 more participants compared to last spring. March • The St. Patrick's Day I.uncheon was well-received by 83 seniors, with tood b�� Open Heart Kitchen and a performance by folk sin�;ei, Steven Gary. � � 'I'hirteen people enjoyed a leisurely�day trip to Nlonterey's Canner��Row. April • The Cit��'s Executive Team and other Citv Staff served a delicious meal to 99 volunteers who �vere rec��nized at the annual Volunteer Appreciation I.uncheon. Stacv Carter provided the entertainment covering popular l�lotovvn songs. Over 13,U00 volunteer hours were documented in 2015. • "I'hirteen seniors visited the l iloli Estate and the Gamble Gardens in �Y�oodside. • `I'he Dublin Senior Centcr Foundation's first Bin�;o Part�� catered by Taquiera Los Pericos attracted 101 bingo enthusiasts. May • .!�t the ��Zother's Dati Luncheon, 31 seniors were serenaded b}' p�p�lar singer, I�tanuel Romero. Food was provided by 1'lbsolute Celebratic�ns Catering. • A };roup of ten seniors toured Mare Island, the former naval base in Vallejo and enjoyed lunch in downtown Benicia.
