SUBJECT: The"Lock Out"Evaluation

RECOMMENDATION: Receive Report and Provide Input
FINANCIAL STATEMENT: None
DESCRIPTION: On Thursday, March 26 the Lock Out Sub Committee conducted
their event. Approximately 56 teens attended this event. The Lock Out included a 3 point basketball
Contest, a 3 on 3 basketball tournament, a Dance Contest and a Lip Sync Contest along with dancing and
food. Cost was $3.00 pre-sale and $5.00 at the door. A door prize of Mardi Gras necklaces was given at
the door. Five tickets were pre-sold and 10 were given out to Lip Sync Contest winners at lunch.
Promotion included two DJ performances at Dublin High School, announcements in the school bulletin,
and Color Flyers.
Recommendation
Staff recommends that the Committee review The "Lock Out" event and determine what worked well and
what didn't and how this event might be improved(if offered again).
