Shannon Community Center has recently undergone a major renovation. Now that it is completed, you will find the facility
dramatically improved. Things may not look quite the same as you remember - room dimensions have changed; we've added
restrooms, storage space, a new kitchen and more! We've taken extra care to make the building more accessible to handicapped
persons. The lighting and accoustics have been improved to make the building more functional.
Phase H of the renovation (scheduled to begin this fall) will focus on improving the surrounding park. There will be regrading,
new plantings and improved walkways throughout the park. The play area will be greatly expanded with play apparatus and a
new water element. There will be equipment appropriate for both preschool and school age children.
The Shannon Community Center is available for private rental on a space - available basis. Dublin residents may book
up to one year in advance. Non-residents may reserve the facility nine months prior to the desired date. A few dates are still
available for holiday parties. Don't delay —make your plans now to utilize Shannon Community Center for your special event.
For additional information, call Char at 829-4932.
