l c % SENIOR CENTER ADVISORY COMMITTEE
MEETING DATE: May 6, 2010
SUBJECT: Marketing Brochure
Report Prepared by, Anna Hudson, Recreation Coordinator
ATTACHMENTS: 1. Draft Brochure
RECOMMENDATION: Receive report and provide input.
FINANCIAL STATEMENT: None
DESCRIPTION: As part of the Dublin Senior Center Advisory Committee's 2009-
2011 Strategic Plan, there is a strategic goal to develop a handout to support outreach efforts. In October
2009 the Advisory Committee provided input on the preferred content for the handout.
Attachment 1 is the draft brochure. It will be used as a promotional tool by Advisory Committee
Members, Ambassadors, Greeters and Staff to promote the Dublin Senior Center. It will also be a
giveaway at Senior Center outreach events.
Staff selected photos that visually depicted active seniors participating in the most popular, and well-
attended activities at the Dublin Senior Center. The photos were purposefully selected to include men,
women, ethnic diversity, and different age groups. Staff is seeking input from the Advisory Committee
on any suggestions for the final brochure.
RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the Advisory Committee receive the report and provide input.
