A Regular Meeting of the Dublin Planning Commission was held on Tuesday, June 13,
2017, in the Council Chamber. The meeting was called to order at 7:02 PM., by
Commissioner Scott Mittan.

posed by the Commission.

Don Ricci, Architect for the Applicant, provided public comment and responded to
questions posed by the Commission.
Jason Yakich, Associate Wildlife Biologist, responded to questions posed by the
Commission.
On motion of Commission Wright seconded by Commissioner Kothari, and by a
3-2 vote (Commissioner Qureshi and Commission Chair Mittan voting No), the
Planning Commission continued the item to June 27, 2017.
5.2. PUBLIC HEARING: Dublin Place SDR- Site Development Review for 7300
Amador Plaza Road (PLPA-2017-00013)
Amy Million, Principal Planner, made a presentation and responded to questions
posed by the Commission.
Commission Chair Mittan opened the public hearing.
Jerry Hunt, Applicant, responded to questions posed by the Commission.
David Gates, Architect, responded to questions posed by the Commission.
Galen Grant, Architect, responded to questions posed by the Commission.
Marie Marshall, Dublin resident, provided public comment.
Marlene Massetti, Dublin resident, provided public comment.
Commission Chair Mittan closed the public hearing.
On motion by Commissioner Wright seconded by Commissioner Tara and by
unanimous vote, the Commission adopted:
RESOLUTION NO. 17 — 08
APPROVING A SITE DEVELOPMENT REVIEW PERMIT FOR THE DEMOLITIO OF
AN EXISTING COMMERCIAL BUILDING AND CONSTRUCTION OF A 17,000
SQUARE FOOT COMMERCIAL DEVELOPMENT AT 7300 AMADOR PLAZA ROAD
(APN 941-0305-027-00 AND A PORTION OF APN 941-0305-028-00)

Commissioner Wright requested that a future item be placed on the Planning
Commission agenda to review and reconsider the City's communication policy, which
would allow Planning Commissioners to communicate with members of the public
outside of a Planning Commission meeting and provide Commissioners with City email
addresses.
Jeff Baker, Assistant Community Development Director, informed the Commission that
these topics were outside of their purview and would not be placed on a future agenda.
The Ex parte communications policy would have to be considered by the City Council.
Mr. Baker agreed to discuss the policy with the City Manager.
Mr. Baker reminded the Commission that the next Planning Commission Meeting will be
held on June 27, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at the Shannon Center.

The meeting was adjourned by Commission Chair Mittan at 11:06 p.m.
