EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The City Council will receive a notification of the City Engineer’s pending approval of the
Final Map for Tract 8136, Schaefer Ranch, Unit 3, located on Schaefer Way.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION:
Receive the notification.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
There is no impact on the General Fund.
DESCRIPTION:
In accordance with Chapter 9.24.080 of the City of Dublin Municipal Code, this is a
notice of the following:

THE UNDERSIGNED, DOES HEREBY STATE THAT THEY ARE OWNERS OF ALL THE LANDS
DELINEATED AND EMBRACED WITHIN THE BOUNDARY LINES UPON THE HEREIN EMBODIED MAP
ENTITLED "TRACT 8136 SCHAEFER RANCH -UNIT 3" FOR SUBDIVISION PURPOSES, CITY OF DUBLIN,
ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, CONSISTING OF SEVEN (7) SHEETS, THIS STATEMENT BEING ON
SHEET ONE (1) THEREOF; THAT THEY HAVE CAUSED SAID MAP TO BE PREPARED FOR RECORD
AND DO CONSENT TO THE MAKING AND RECORDATION OF SAID MAP; AND THAT SAID MAP DOES
PARTICULARLY SET FORTH AND DESCRIBE ALL PARCELS OF LAND SO RESERVED FOR PUBLIC
PURPOSES BY THEIR BOUNDARIES, COURSES AND INTENT.
THE REAL PROPERTY DESCRIBED BELOW IS DEDICATED AS EASEMENT FOR PUBLIC PURPOSES:
1. THE AREAS IN, UNDER, ALONG, AND ACROSS ANY AREA OR STIP OF LAND DESIGNATED AS
PUBLIC SERVICE EASMENTS (PSE), AS DELINEATED AND EMBRACED WITHIN THE BOUNDARIES OF
THE HEREIN EMBODIED MAP, ARE DEDICATED TO THE CITY OF DUBLIN FOREVER FOR THE
"PURPOSES OF PUBLIC SERVICES" (AS HEREIN DEFINED). THE "PURPOSES OF PUBLIC SERVICES"
SHALL INCLUDE THE CONSTRUCTION, RECONSTRUCTION, REMOVING, REPLACING, REPAIRING,
MAINTAINING, OPERATING, AND USING "PUBLIC SERVICE FACILITIES" (AS DEFINED HEREIN), AND
ACCESS THROUGH THE PUBLIC SERVICE EASEMENT FOR THESE PURPOSES. "PUBLIC SERVICE
FACILITIES" SHALL INCLUDE PUBLIC UTILITIES, FIRE HYDRANTS, ELECTROLIERS, IRRIGATION
SYSTEMS, SIGNS, AND ALL NECESSARY APPURTENANCES THERETO SUCH AS BRACES,
CONNECTIONS, FASTENINGS, APPLIANCES, AND FIXTURES FOR USE IN CONNECTION THEREWITH.
ALL PUBLIC SERVICE EASEMENTS SHALL BE KEPT OPEN AND FREE FROM BUILDINGS OR
STRUCTURES OF ANY KIND, WITH THE SOLE EXCEPTION OF PUBLIC SERVICE FACILITIES. ALL
PUBLIC SERVICE EASEMENTS SHALL BE CONSIDERED PUBLIC "WAYS" AS THAT TERM IS USED IN
CALIFORNIA PUBLIC UTILITIES CODE SECTION 6202, AND ALL PUBLIC UTILITIES HOLDING A VALID
FRANCHISE FROM THE CITY SHALL HAVE THE RIGHT TO USE THE PUBLIC SERVICE EASEMENTS IN
ACCORDANCE WITH THE TERMS OF THE FRANCHISE.
THE REAL PROPERTY DESCRIBED BELOW IS RESERVED FOR FUTURE DEDICATION TO THE
SCHAEFER RANCH GEOLOGIC HAZARD ABATEMENT DISTRICT (CHAD) SUBSEQUENT TO THE FILING
OF THIS MAP:
1. THE REAL PROPERTY DESIGNATED AS PARCEL 'A' AND PARCEL 'B' FOR PRIVATE OPEN SPACE.
THE UNDERSIGNED WILL DEDICATE BY SEPARATE INSTRUMENT TO THE DUBLIN SAN RAMON
SERVICES DISTRICT ( DSRSD) THE AREAS DESIGNATED AS "D.S.R.S.D.E." AS EASEMENTS FOR THE
