Call to Order and Pledge of Allegiance — The meeting was called to order at 7:03 p.m. by Mayor Haubert. The pledge of allegiance was recited by the City Council, Staff, and those present at the meeting. Recognition of Dublin Library Manager Lee Jouthas The City Council presented a certificate of recognition to Lee Jouthas on her retirement. 3.3. Recognition of Noah Mac The City Council recognized Noah Mac for his achievement on NBC's "The Voice." 3.4. Recognition of City of Dublin 2017 Citizen, Young Citizen, and Organization of the Year, and 2018 Mayor's Award and Mayor's Legacy Award Recipients The City Council recognized Allison Loo, 2017 Young Citizen of the Year; Steve Minniear, 2017 Citizen of the Year; Open Heart Kitchen, 2017 Organization of the Year; and Georgean Von heed er-Leopold, 2018 Mayor's Legacy Award winner. 3.5. Proclamation for American Red Cross Month, March 2018 The City Council presented a proclamation recognizing March 2018 as American Red Cross Month. 3.6. 2018 St. Patrick's Day Celebration Festivities Report The City Council received the St. Patrick's Day report. 3.7. Public Comment Jeff Gebel, Dublin resident, provided public comment. v 4. Consent Calendar 4.1. Approved the minutes of the February 20, 2018 Regular City Council meeting. 4.2. Accepted the Annual Progress Report on the Status of the Dublin General Plan and Housing Element Compliance for Calendar Year 2017; and, directed Staff to forward the Annual Progress Report to the California State Office of Planning and Research and the California Department of Housing and Community Development. New Business 8.1. Edy Coleman Memorial Bench Jamie Gardea provided public comment on this item. The City Council approved the installation of the family's first choice bench in the Dublin Pioneer Cemetery at the family's first choice location. Other Business By consensus, the City Council requested Staff to check -in with the "At Dublin" project and bring back information to see where the project stands. By consensus, the City Council requested Staff to return with an item to memorialize a City facility in honor of Vice Mayor Don Biddle. Chris Foss, City Manager, stated that he would be bringing back an item to fill the vacant seat on the City Council. By consensus, the City Council requested Staff to return with a discussion of Splatter.
