7. New Business
7.1. Dublin Crossing Community Park Plan
Mr. James M. Rodems, Parks and Community Services Director, and Mr. Joe
Guerrera, Brookfield Residential, presented the details of the project as outlined
in the Staff Report.
The Commission asked about lighting for the courts and pathways, parking for
the museum site, shade structures, and how the Great Lawn area would be used
for sports fields.
Mr. Guerrera explained that with the project already being over budget, features
for court lighting and additional shade structures could no t be incorporated into
the project. He stated pathways would be lit, and parking for the museum site, if
realized, would be incorporated adjacent to the site. He explained that the Great
Lawn area could be used for pickup soccer and baseball games or pra ctices,
however, the main purpose of the areas would be as a passive area.

Community Park final conceptual plan and the list of amenities included.
