City of Dublin et al., Alameda Superior Court Case No. RG18901768 1. Call to Order and Pledge of Allegiance – The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Mayor Pro Tem Hernandez. The pledge of allegiance was recited by the City Council, Staff, and those present at the meeting. Mayor Haubert teleconferenced from TownePlace Suites, 50 Rosebrook Place, Wareham, MA 02571 . Report on Closed Session – Mayor Pro Tem Hernandez confirmed with the City Attorney stated that there was no reportable action out of Closed Session. 3. Oral Communications 3.1. Employee Introductions: Daniel Gonzales, Sai Midididdi, Cathy Wells, Josephine Hodges, Justine Brown The City Council welcomed the new City of Dublin staff members. 3.2. Dublin Pride Week 2018 Recognition and Report The City Council received the Dublin Pride Week activity report and recognized the contest winners. 3.3. Consent Calendar Mayor Pro Tem Hernandez pulled Item 4.5 on behalf of Mayor Haubert and asked that it be continued to a future meeting. 4.1. Approved the minutes of the May 15, 2018 Regular City Council meeting. 4.2. Directed Staff to review the City’s Conflict of Interest Code and take the appropriate action. 4.3. Adopted RESOLUTION NO. 60 – 18 APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE FIRST RESPONDER ADVANCED LIFE SUPPORT (FRALS) AGREEMENT 4.4. Adopted RESOLUTION NO. 61 – 18 APPROVING AN AGREEMENT WITH COUNTY OF ALAMEDA FOR LIBRARY SERVICES FOR FISCAL YEAR 2018-19 4.5. Continued the item to a future meeting. General Municipal Election – November 6, 2018 Adopted RESOLUTION NO. 62 – 18 CALLING FOR A GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD IN THE CITY OF DUBLIN ON NOVEMBER 6, 2018; REQUESTING THE ALAMEDA COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS CONSOLIDATE THE CITY OF DUBLIN GENERAL MUNICIP AL ELECTION WITH THE STATEWIDE GENERAL ELECTION; AND AUTHORIZING CERTAIN PROCEDURAL MATTERS RESOLUTION NO. 63 – 18 ADOPTING REGULATIONS FOR CANDIDATES FOR ELECTIVE OFFICE PERTAINING TO CANDIDATE'S STATEMENT AND THE COSTS THEREOF FOR THE GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE CONSOLIDATED WITH THE STATEWIDE GENERAL ELECTION TO BE HELD ON TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 6, 2018 RESULT: ADOPTED [UNANIMOUS] MOVED BY: Abe Gupta, Councilmember SECOND: Janine Thalblum, Councilmember AYES: Goel, Gupta, Haubert, Hernandez, Thalblum 9.
