Soto, City Clerk/Records Manager EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: The City Council will consider approval of the minutes of the October 2, 2018 Regular City Council meeting. STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Approve the minutes of the October 2, 2018 Regular City Council meeting. Call to Order – The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Mayor Haubert. Public Comment No public comments were made. 4. Consent Calendar 4.1. Approved the minutes of the September 18, 2018 Regular City Council meeting. 4.2. Proclaimed the week of October 8, 2018 through October 12, 2018 as “Walk and Roll to School Week” in the City of Dublin. 4.3. Adopted RESOLUTION NO. 108 – 18 ADOPTING AN UPDATED DUBLIN WEBSITE AND SOCIAL MEDIA POLICY AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 51-02 4.4. Proclaimed October 7-13, 2018 as Fire Prevention Week. Adopted RESOLUTION NO. 109 – 18 CONFIRMING CITY OF DUBLIN PARTICIPATION IN THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA OFFICE OF TRAFFIC SAFETY SELECTIVE TRAFFIC ENFORCEMENT GRANT AGREEMENT 4.6. Presented the Manufacturing Day proclamation. 4.7. Adopted RESOLUTION NO. 110 – 18 APPROVING A SMALL BUSINESS ASSISTANCE GRANT PROGRAM AGREEMENT WITH BIT HOLDINGS SIXTY-THREE, INC. Written Communication – None. 6. Public Hearing 6.1. Valley Christian Center: Planned Development Zoning Amendment and Site Development Review Permit (PLPA-2014-00052) Guy Houston, representative for Valley Christian Center, asked for a continuance on this item. The City Council voted to continue the item to a date in the near future. Unfinished Business 7.1. Don Biddle Community Park Project Update By consensus, the City Council received the report; ordered a $100,000 cap on the Valley Oak tree, balance of $500,000 on iconic activity in the park; and Mayor Haubert and Cm. Gupta will be part of a subcommittee to find an "iconic" piece for the park. 8. New Business 8.1. Public Safety Complex Art Selection Gordon Huether, artist, made a presentation and responded to questions posed by the City Council. The City Council approved the design proposed by Gordon Huether for a public art piece to be placed in the future Public Safety Complex, and indicated the piece to be located in the front of the Complex. Residential Holiday Decorating Program The City Council approved the Dublin Residential Holiday Decorating Program. Other Business – Brief information only reports from City Council and/or Staff, including committee reports and reports by City Council related to meetings attended at City expense (AB1234). By consensus, the City Council directed Staff to check for potential dates for the possible continuation of items related to the October 16, 2018 Regular City Council meeting. DUBLIN CITY COUNCIL MINUTES 4 REGULAR MEETING OCTOBER 2, 2018 By consensus, the City Council requested a Closed Session item regarding Assembly Bill 2923 that recently passed. By consensus, the City Council asked Staff to bring back an item related to a dditional cricket batting cages. By consensus, the City Council asked Staff to bring back an item regarding project labor agreements. 10. Adjournment The meeting was adjourned at 9:14 p.m. in honor of Staff Sgt.
