HomeMy WebLinkAboutPC Minutes 10-03-2018 (Study Session)-;-Y'z PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES � Tuesday, October 3, 2018 A Study Session of the Dublin Planning Commission was held on Wednesday, October 3, 2018, in the City Council Chamber. The meeting was called to order at 6:00 PM., by Commission Chair Bhuthimethee. 1. Oral Communications — None. 2.1 Public Comment No public comments were made. 3. Consent Calendar- None. 4. Written Communication - None. 5. Public Hearing — None. 6. Unfinished Business — None. 7. New Business 7.1 STUDY SESSION: AT DUBLIN (PLPA-2017-00061) Amy Million, Principal Planner, made a presentation and responded to questions posed by the Commission. Ben Huey, Kimley-Horn & Associates, Inc., made a presentation and responded to questions posed by the Commission. Obaid Khan, Transportation & Operations Manager for the City of Dublin, responded to questions posed by the Commission. Elizabeth Cobb, Vice President of Development with Shea Properties, made a presentation and responded to questions posed by the Commission. Planning Commission Octoder3, 2018 Study Session P age 11 Emily Bonato, Senior Architect with Dahlin Group, made a presentation and responded to questions posed by the Commission. Kevin McCook, Shea Properties, made a presentation and responded to questions posed by the Commission. Merrill Hart, Dublin Resident, spoke in opposition of the proposed project. David DiVecchio, Dublin Resident, spoke in opposition of the proposed project. John Dalrymple, Dublin Resident, spoke in opposition of the proposed project. Ed Fisher, Dublin Resident, spoke in opposition of the proposed project. Mark Rodgers, Dublin Resident, spoke in opposition of the proposed project. John Bakker, City Attorney, responded to questions posed by the Commission. Mark Day, Senior Principal with Dahlin Group, made a presentation and responded to questions posed by the Commission. Due to the size of the proposed project, the Commission felt it necessary to continue the Study Session to the following evening, Thursday, October 4, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. The Commission gave the Applicant direction on topics of interest and requested that the Applicant be prepared to address these topics on October 4, 2018. With no further questions or discussion for the evening, the study session was adjourned. 8. Other Business 9.
