Community Spotlight: Certificate of Recognition for Senior Support
Program of the Tri-Valley

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The City Council will present a "Community Spotlight" certificate of recognition to Senior
Support Program of the Tri-Valley in recognition of their continued contributions to the
Dublin community.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION:
Present the certificate.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:

DESCRIPTION:
In an effort to highlight the benefits of non -profit agencies that serve the Dublin
community, the City Council will present a "Community Spotlight" certif icate of
recognition to Senior Support Program of the Tri Valley, an independent non-profit
serving seniors over the age of 60 in the Tri-Valley area.
Senior Support Program of the Tri-Valley was established in 1981 and annually serves
approximately 1,600 seniors in the Tri-Valley area (Dublin, Livermore, Pleasanton, and
Sunol) through visits, phone visits and informational referrals.
Senior Support Program of the Tri Valley has received a Human Services Grant from
the City to support their work providing case management to seniors in the community.
