EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The City Council will receive the presentation on the Zone 7 Water Agency.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION:
Receive the presentation.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
None.
DESCRIPTION:
The Zone 7 Water Agency Zone 7 Water Agency was established by the Livermore -
Amador Valley voters in 1957 to provide local control to matters of flood protection and
water resource management in eastern Alameda County. Zone 7’s areas of focus
include water supply, water quality, groundwater management, flood/stream
management, and watershed protection.
Valerie Pryor, General Manager of Zone 7, will make a presentation to the City Council
and will be available to answer any questions.
