NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Dublin calls for immediate passage by the Legislature and Governor of the gas tax component of the transportation programs approved this last summer which will provide revenues for the rebuilding and repair of essential transportation facilities in the region and, at the same time, direct on-going resources to address the significant shortcomings which existed in the State's transportation infrastructure prior to this natural disaster; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Dublin also supports a modification of the Gann Limit which would enable immediate use of SCA-1 funds, and calls for the preservation of this resolution to the Governor, the Secretary of State, the Legislative Authors of SCA-1, and the Alameda County representatives in the State Legislature.
