HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 074-88 L&LMAD86-1SetHearRESOLUTION NO. 74-88 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DUBLIN A RESOLUTION APPOINTING TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING PROTESTS IN RELATION TO PROPOSED ASSESSMENTS CITY OF DUBLIN LANDSCAPING AND LIGHTING MAINTENANCE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT 86-1 WHEREAS, by its Resolution No. 60-88, a Resolution Directing Preparation of Annual Report for Maintenance Assessment District, City of Dublin Landscaping and Lighting Maintenance Assessment District 86-1 (the "District") this Council designated the City Engineer as Engineer and ordered that engineer to make and file a report in writing in accordance with and pursuant to the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972; and WHEREAS, said Engineer of Work has made and filed with the City Clerk a preliminary report in writing as called for in said Resolution No. 60-88, and under and pursuant to said Act, which report has been presented to this Council for consideration; and WHEREAS, said Council has duly considered said report and each and every part thereof, and finds that each and every part of said report is sufficient; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that on June 13, 1988, at the hour of 7:30 p.m. in the regular meeting place of said Council, Dublin Library, 7606 Amador Valley Blvd., Dublin, California, be, and the same are hereby appointed and fixed as the time and place when and where it will consider and finally act upon the Engineer's Report. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of said hearing once a week for two weeks in the local newspaper published and circulated in said City, and by conspicuously posting a notice thereof at public locations, and not less than three in all; said posting and first publication to be had and completed at least ten (10) days before the date herein set for hearing of protests. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said notices shall be headed "Notice of Assessment" and shall, in legible characters, state the fact and date of the passage of this Resolution and approving the preliminary Engineer's Report and of the date, hour, and place set for the hearing of said protests, and briefly describe the assessments proposed to be made, and refer to said Resolution and report for further particulars.
