DESCRIPTION:
The proposed project consists of an amendment to the West Dublin BART Specific Plan, originally
adopted in December 2000, to make minor modifications in the Plan boundaries and land uses, and
increase the allowed Floor Area Ratio (FAR) for particular properties (Enea Plaza, HHH Investment and
Guidotti Trust properties, and Crown Chevrolet) on approximately 26 acres near the 1-580/680
interchange. On December 19, 2000 the City Council directed staff to undertake a Specific Plan Study,
which would potentially amend' the West Dublin BART Specific Plan changing the intensity of
development and the Floor Area Ratio (FAR) for the prOperties.
Background
The Planning Commission considered this amendment at their meeting on June 26, 2001, and adopted a
resolution recommending approval to the City Council. However, following that meeting, it was
'determined that additional technical analysis regarding traffic impacts was needed by the Public Works
Department before further consideration by the City Council. Staff is requesting that the item be
Withdrawn from consideration at this time. A public hearing notice will be published for a futUre City
Council meeting when the technical analysis is completed.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that the City Council open and close the public hearing and remove the project from
consideration at this time.
