square, new street grid and downtown character. Sub-consultant David Masenten (ELS
Architecture + Urban Design) also presented during the work session.
The envisioned town square along the proposed extension of Golden Gate Drive (one
block north of Dublin Blvd.) is envisioned to be approximately 300’ by 200’ from building
face to building face.
The preferred vision includes a new street grid which will include new east/west streets
and the extension of Golden Gate Drive north from Dublin Boulevard to Amador Valley
Boulevard.
The Downtown Character which includes density and massing, would permit what is
currently allowed in the Downtown Dublin Specific Plan (i.e. up to six story buildings), and
land uses for office, hotel, retail and residential.
