APRIL 21, 2020
A Regular Meeting of the Dublin City Council was held on Tuesday, April 21, 2020,
remotely via Zoom Video Communications. The meeting was called to order at 7:02
PM., by Mayor Haubert.

5.1. Review of Proposed Terms to Extend the Solid Waste Collection Services
Agreement

The City Council received the report and directed Staff to continue working with
AVI on an extension of the agreement based on a model that is a hybrid of
annual rate adjustments, component cost separation, and regular financial
reviews; look at alternative vehicle options; and bring back the information for
their consideration. The finalized report will be brought back to the City Council in
June of 2020.
6. Public Hearing
6.1. Tassajara Road Alignment Project - General Plan Amendment, Eastern
Dublin Specific Plan Amendment, Introduce Ordinance Establishing
Precise Alignment of Right-of-way Lines
Mayor Haubert opened the public hearing.
There were no public comments.

RESOLUTION NO. 31 – 20
AMENDING THE GENERAL PLAN AND THE EASTERN DUBLIN SPECIFIC PLAN
RELATED TO THE TASSAJARA ROAD ALIGNMENT PROJECT
On motion of Mayor Haubert, seconded by Councilmember Hernandez, and by
unanimous vote, the City Council waived the reading and INTRODUCED the
Ordinance to Establish Right-of-Way Lines for Tassajara Road between
Palisades Drive to the Alameda-Contra Costa County Limit Line, and made the
following motion:

The City Council agreed to remain in the Urban County program and directed Staff
to notify HUD and Alameda County HCD of that decision.

9. Other Business
Brief information only reports from City Council and/or Staff, including committee
reports and reports by City Council related to meetings attended at City expense

By consensus, the City Council directed the City Manager and Emergency
Operations Center Director, Linda Smith, to work with Spectrum Meals on Wheels to
make available meals for wheelchair bound and/or special needs citizens during the
current crisis.
10. Adjournment
The City Council observed a moment of silence for Maddie Misheloff and adjourned
the meeting in her memory at 8:33 p.m.
