HomeMy WebLinkAboutItem 4.12 - 3153 At Dublin Page 1 of 2 STAFF REPORT CITY COUNCIL DATE: March 17, 2020 TO: Honorable Mayor and City Councilmembers FROM: Linda Smith, City Manager SUBJECT: At Dublin Project (PLPA-2017-00061) - Postponement Prepared by: Jeff Baker, Director of Community Development EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: The applicant, Kevin Fryer on behalf of SCS Development, has requested that the City Council postpone consideration of the At Dublin project. The proposed project includes development of up to 566 residential units comprised of apartments, detached small-lot single-family homes and 55 and older age restricted single-family homes, up to 240,000 square feet of retail commercial development, and related infrastructure and landscape improvements. The project is located on a 76.9-acre site primarily bound by Tassajara Road, Interstate 580, Brannigan Street and Gleason Drive. Requested approvals include General Plan and Eastern Dublin Specific Plan Amendments, a Planned Development Rezone with Stage 1 and Stage 2 Development Plans, Vest ing Tentative Map Nos. 8440, 8449 and 8452, a Street Vacation, and a Development Agreement, and certification of a Final Environmental Impact Report. The City Council will hold a public hearing to consider this item at their meeting on April 7, 2020. The P ublic Hearing will be held at the Shannon Community Center (Ambrose Hall), located at 11600 Shannon Avenue, Dublin. STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Continue the item to the City Council’s April 7, 2020 regular meeting to be held at the Shannon Community Center at 11600 Shannon Avenue, Dublin. FINANCIAL IMPACT: The financial impacts of the proposed project will be presented in the Staff Report when the City Council considers the project at the Public Hearing.
