The meeting was called to order at 9:33 AM, by Vice Chairperson Christine Sevier. 1. Call to Order and Pledge of Allegiance 2. Oral Communications 3. Consent Calendar 3.1. Minutes of the September 5, 2019 Regular Meeting of the Dublin Senior Center Advisory Committee. Approved as presented in the report. 3.2. August 2019 Senior Center Monthly Report. Received the report. 4. New Business 4.1. 2019 Senior Info Fair Received the report. 5. CM Vice Chair Christine Sevier will attend the October Parks and Community Services Commission meeting and provide the Senior Advisory Committee report. Recreation Coordinator Liz Elliott informed the committee about the City's Wall of Heroes exhibit that will be displayed from November 1 through Veterans Day at the Dublin Senior Center. Ms. Elliott also informed the committee that the Senior Center is seeking volunteers for many programs, and is hiring part-time staff. Volunteer applications are available at volunteermatch.com Job descriptions and applications are available at CalOpps.com Ms. Elliott attended the Senior Foundation meeting on October 2. CM Connie Mack will inform the tenants of Valor Crossing of the upcoming Wall of Heroes and the Veteran'. The Hometown Heroes Veterans Day Luncheon, coordinated by the Rotary Club of Dublin, will be held on November 7 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at Shannon Community Center. CM Susan Miller reported that a Senior Advisory subcommittee was developing proposals for a Ping Pong tournament and a Senior Job Fair. 6.
