On October 28, 2011, StopWaste.Org held their annual StopWaste Partnership Business
Efficiency Awards to honor companies whose continuous environmental performance and
business efficiency have achieved outstanding results.
This year, 11 companies from cities throughout Alameda County, including Dublin Corporate
Center, were recognized for their outstanding achievements in waste reduction, environmental
performance, and mentoring peers on business efficiency practices.
Dublin Corporate Center, a Class A office campus comprised of three office buildings at
Tassajara Road and Interstate 580, was recognized for several recent achievements in
preventing and reducing waste. Dublin Corporate Center is the first multi-tenant property-
managed site in Dublin to add food scraps collection. The company also recycled and

composted over 39 tons of waste within its first year in the program, and continues to keep
waste generation the same, even as the number of tenants grows. In addition, the company
works closely with their building maintenance staff to ensure the program's success.
About the StopWaste Partnership
The StopWaste Partnership, a program of StopWaste.Org, is a free technical assistance
program that has helped hundreds of Alameda County companies to reduce the waste they
produce, conserve energy and natural resources, and cut company costs through education,
grants and expert advice from sustainability professionals.
