DESCRIPTION: The City Council authorized Staff to plan a 25th Anniversary Dinner. The
City's 25th Anniversary Dinner celebration was held on February 2, 2007. The event will begin with hors
d'oeuvres and will be followed by a sit-down dinner. The event will also include a variety of
entertainment including a disc jockey for dancing and complimentary digital photograph for guests in
attendance. During the planning of the event the TVCVB approached City Staff and offered a donation of
three cases Tri- Valley red wines. The generous donation of wine was used at the 25th Anniversary Dinner
and helped to defray the cost of the event.
As per Government Code Section 37354, it is recommended that all gifts and contributions be formally
accepted by the City Council. Therefore, Staff recommends that the City Council accept the gift from the
TVCVB and direct Staff to prepare a formal acknowledgement.
