DESCRIPTION: On October 3, 2006 the City Council approved an Agreement with
Callander Associates Landscape Architecture Inc. to complete design services for Devany Square
(formally known as Area G Square). The scope of work included design related services through the
project's bidding process and limited construction administration services. Staff is seeking additional
services through the construction phase ofthe project.
The services that Callander Associates Landscape Architecture Inc. will provide beyond the original
agreement include site visits, attendance at project meetings and issuing clarification sketches to ensure
design intent is met. Further detail is provided on Attachment 1.
RECOMMENDATION: It is the recommendation of Staff that the City Cou~cil approve the
Change Order #2 for Callander Associates Landscape Architecture Inc. in the amount of$5,727.

The recently named/Devany Square is about to start construction. We have prepared the
following proposaVfor additional construction administration services to supplement services
currently under c1ntract in order to meet your proposed scope.
The following a~ditional services will be provided on this project in accordance with our
agreement datE(d .October 3, 2006 and are considered an amendment thereto:
Scope
i
Task 1 - Con~truction Administration
During consitruction of DevanySquare, ~allander Associates will provide construction
administratIon services to support City Inspectors. Services may include the following upon
City request.
I
a. Review shop drawings and submittals required by technical specifications (under original
contract).
b. Assist City in responding to contractor requests for information (under original contract).
c. Attend pre-construction meeting.

NOTE: This change order is not effective until approved bv the City Manager
Description of work to be done, estimate of quantities, and prices to be paid. Segregate between additional work at contract price, agreed
price and force account. Unless otherwise stated, rates for rental of equipment cover only such time as equipment is actually used and no
allowance will be made for idle time.
