RECOMMENDATION: (JItfJ" Confirm Mayor's appointment to Youth Advisory Committee for the

FINANCIAL STATEMENT: None
DESCRIPTION: At the September 5, 2006 meeting, the Dublin City Council
confirmed the Mayor's appointments to the Youth Advisory Committee for the term of September 2006
through August 2007. Ten high school students and two alternates were appointed. As there were no
applications received from Middle School students, the application period was extended.
One additional application was received by the October 6, 2006 deadline from Wells Middle School 8th
grader, Bre' Auna Pontiflet. The Mayor recommends her appointment. Staff will continue to solicit
applications for the remaining two Middle School openings.
RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends that the City Council confirm the Mayor's
appointment to the Youth Advisory Committee for the term ending in August 2007.
