The project has been satisfactorily completed and Staff recommends that the City Council accept the
improvements under Contract No. 03-02, Traffic Signal at Central Parkway and Tassajara Creek, and
authorize the release of retention after 35 days ifthere are no subcontractor claims.
This project installed a traffic signal on Central Parkway at the intersection of the recreational trail along
Tassajara Creek. The traffic signal enhanced the traffic safety for pedestrians crossing Central Parkway at
this location, including trail users, Dougherty Elementary School students, and residents using Emerald
Glen Park.
DESCRIPTION: On October 21,2003, the City Council awarded Contract No. 03-02,
Traffic Signal at Central Parkway and Tassajara Creek, to Wingard Engineering, Inc.
This project is funded through the City's General Fund.
