Acceptance of Girl to the City

RECOMMENDATION:~7A ~Accept the girl and direct Staff to prepare a formal

FINANCIAL STATEMENT: None
DESCRIPTION: The Dublin Senior Center has received a check in the amount of
$400.00 from Frank Inami, husband of the late Setsuko (Sue) Inami. Ms. Inami was not only a dedicated
volunteer at the Senior Center but also made frequent monetary donations to the City to benefit the
patrons of the Dublin Senior Center. Ms. Inami also served as the Senior Center's official librarian. Her
efforts have helped to develop a lending library at the Senior Center that features a broad range of topics
and is categorized by type and author.
The donation will be retained in a liability account until such time as a project or need to expend the funds
is identified. The appropriate budget change form will be brought before the City Council for approval
when such a need arises.
As per Government Code Section 37354, it is recommended that all girls and contributions be formally
accepted by the City Council.
RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended the City Council accept the gift and direct Staffto
prepare formal acknowledgement to the donor.
