theme is "20 Years of Dublin Pride" to celebrate the City's anniversary and reflect on the ways in which
individuals and organizations have contributed to making Dublin a better place to live.
This year, Dublin Pride Week is scheduled to begin on Saturday, April 20th, and will conclude on
Saturday, April 27tho This will be the second year that Pride Week has been scheduled to coincide with
Earth Day. Additionally the Governor has recognized April as Keep California Beautiful month.
Livermore-Dublin Disposal's (LDD) first special clean-up for the year will take place between April 1st -
19th. During the clean-up, Dublin households can dispose of up to three cubic yards of refuse at no
additional charge. Residents will be encouraged to clean up their own properties as part of the Dublin
Pride Week activities. In addition LDD has offered to donate "handy hauler" waste containers to groups or

Mr. Jason Behrmann
Management Assistant
City of Dublin

Dear Jason:
Waste Management, formerly Livermore Dublin Disposal is pleased once again to
participate in the Dublin Pride Week Celebration. We have enjoyed working with the
City to plan this event each year and look for another successful celebration.
Waste Management is committed to $3,025 toward the Dublin Pride Week Celebration.
These monies wilt be used toward the environmental awareness program. We will
provide a Handy Hauler container to non-profit organizations that sponsor a specific
cleanup project that has been approved by the City. We will schedule the Handy Haulers,
along with the containers needed for the City Creek Cleanup project.
Our recycling coordinator, Sheila Fagliano, is working with the City on the Dublin Pride
Week committee and she will provide each child who participates in the Dublin Pride
Week Poster Contest with a "Certificate of Merit" for participating, as well as
"Certificates" for the first place winners. This year's giveaways are coloring books for
grades K-5, sports water bottles for 6-12, and every student will receive a packet of
wildflower seeds and a Dublin Pride Week sticker.
Ms. Fagliano, has been working together with Jason Behrmann, Nancy Feeley, Jim
Freeland, and Tim Hunt to provide a successful Dublin Pride Week Celebration.
We thank you again, for letting us be a part in the Dublin community.
