Design Salaries/Miscellaneous . Improvements Budget Total: FY 2001-2002 $ 15,000 $ 4,350 .$ 0 $ 19,350 FY 2002-2003 $ 0 $ 14,640 $177,000 $191,640 Total $ 15,000 $ 18,990 $177,000 $210,990 DESCRIPTION: This project will install a traffic signal system at the intersection of Dougherty Road and Willow Creek Road. The traffic signal is warranted based on existing traffic volumes entering the intersection during the morning peak hour. The volumes are expected to escalate steadily over time due to increased traffic on Dougherty Road from the Dougherty Valley developments in Contra Costa County. The budget for FY 2002-2003 is proposed to be approved by the end of June 2002. If, for some reason, the budget is not approved, Staff will cancel the bid opening for this project.
