FINANCIAL STATEMENT:
The City of Dublin is proposing to purchase a one-acre parcel
(Parcel 2 of PM 7708) from Alameda County for the construction of
a new fire station in Eastern Dublin. The cost of the land will be
paid from Fire Impact Fees.
DESCRIPTION: The City of Dublin has negotiated the purchase,. of a one-acre parcel
of land (Parcel 2 of PM 7708) from Alameda County for the future construction of a fire station in Eastern
Dublin. The proposed parcel is located north of Qleason Drive in a large tract of land presently owned by
Alameda County.
This Parcel Map will subdivide the County land to create the parcel (Parcel 2) to be purchased by the
City. It will also establish two adjacent parcels that could be utilized by another public or quasi-public
agency in the future. Parcel 1 consists of 1.642 acres and is presently being used by the Califomia
Highway Patrol, and Parcel 3 consists of 21,744 square feet.
A large unsurveyed parcel will remain as Alameda County property. This remainder parcel is situated
north of Gleason Drive and wraps around the existing County Jail site on three sides.
The Parcel Map for the splitting of this project has been reviewed and found to be in substantial
conformance with the Tentative Map and Conditions of Approval. All of the required Parcel Map
documents have been submitted to the City.
Staff recommends that the City Council adopt the attached resolution approving Parcel Map 7708.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF DUBLIN
APPROVING PARCEL MAP 7708
WHEREAS, the Parcel Map 7708, in the incorporated territory of the City of Dublin,
Staie of California, has been presented to this City Council for approval, all in accordance with
the provisions of the Subdivision Map Act of the State of California and the City of Dublin
Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, the City of Dublin has negotiated the purchase of a one-acre parcel from
Alameda County for the purpose of constructing a future fire station in Eastern Dublin; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to create this parcel through the Parcel Map process;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Parcel Map 7708 be and the same is
hereby approved; and that rights to that strip of land marked Non-Exclusive Easement for
Access, Utilities, and Service Area, as offered for dedication to public use in conformity with
the terms of dedication be, and they are hereby accepted; and that the Clerk of this City Council
be and is hereby directed to transmit said Map to the County Recorder for filing.
