Subject: Appreciation to City Council Members for Support of Measure B and its
Passage in November 2000
Dear Ms. Keck:
Passage of Measure B in November 2000 shows the great need for continued
investments in our transportation infrastructure. Alameda County is delighted to have
passed Measure B with 81.5% of the vote. Voters have faith that their money has
been 'spent well on the current Measure B, and more so, want to see improvements to
the existing transportation system they now use.
The Dublin City Council was very insmental in informing the public about the
importance of Measure B and its continuation for an additional 20 years.
ACTA would like to thank the City Council for its efforts in passing Measure B, and
would like to present an appreciation plaque for the Council' s support. In addition,
ACTA would like to provide a short presentation about the status of implementing
the new Measure B. This would be a five-minute presentation.
