CITY OF DUBLIN
CALIFORNIA
Itff-IEREAS, the Dublin Blue Jays, Major Division, competes in Little League District 57; and
WHEREAS, the Dublin Blue Jays completed the 2001 season with a perfect record of 20 wins
and zero losses; and
WHEREAS, the Dublin Blue Jays went undefeated throughout the Tournament of Champions
and triumphed over the Livermore A's in the title game to win the 2001 Little League Major
Divison District 57 Championship with a final record of 26-0; and
WHEREAS, Coaches Al Avanzino & Wait Pittman, along with Man. aogte~_e Bob ElIison, have
demonstrated skill, leadership and ability by directing the Blue Jays ror first perfect record
championship in the history of Dublin Little League; and
WHEREAS, players Austin Angelidakis, Brandon Arata, Craig Avanzino, Jason Barnett, Vince
Digirolamo, Dylan Ellison, Evan Ellison, Bobby Fahey, Spencer Humphrey, B.J. O'Bryan, Travis
P/ttson and Brent Songey are to be commended for their success and skill in the sport of
baseball.
