FINANCIAL STATEMENT: This project is funded through the Internal Service Fund (ISF).
Budget Actual Cost
Shannon Center HVAC - Improvements: $56,500.00 $49,000.00
DESCRIPTION: On April 3, 2001, the City Council awarded Contract 01-05 to
Breeze Air Systems, Inc. This project removed and disposed of seven existing heating systems at the
Shannon Community Center, and installed new HVAC units certified with the energy star symbol to serve
the administration office, social hall, west/east rooms, kitchen, preschool and meeting rooms.
The contractor has completed the work satisfactorily, and the signed manufacturer's warranty has been
received. Staff recommends that the City Council accept the improvements under Contract 01-05, and
authorize final payment in the amount of $49,000.00 to Breeze Air Systems, Inc.
