Ambrose, City Manager ATTACHMENTS: RECOMMENDATION: Goals & Objectives Status Report Capital Improvement Program Schedule f~ Receive the Report FINANCIAL STATEMENT: None DESCRIPTION: On March 19, 2001, the City Council adopted the Goals & Objectives Program for Fiscal Year 2001- 2002. In order to keep the City Council abreast of Staffprogress towards the objectives assigned by the City Council, Staff has prepared a bi-monthly status report for the period ending September 30, 2001. As of that date, a total of 18 of 102 objectives (18%) have been completed. With respect to high priority objectives, a total of 18 out of 75 (24%) have been completed. In the attached report, shaded items denote a status changes since the last update. In June 2001, the Council established a Capital Improvement Program (CIP) Update for Fiscal Years 2000-2005 and appropriated funds for Fiscal Year 2001-2002. The attached CIP schedule lists 57 projects that received funding in Fiscal Year 2001-2002 and identifies an estimated start and completion date for each project° The schedule only includes a time frame for those projects that are funded in Fiscal Year 2001-2002. Subsequent phases and future projects included in the 5 year CIP but not funded in Fiscal Year 2001-2002 are not listed on the schedule. Projects that have a portion of the construction costs appropriated in Fiscal Year 2001-2002, but will continue for several years (Library, Emerald Glen Fire Station etc.) include notes indicating estimated final completion dates. Two additional schedules have been included in this update which provide more detailed information for the Downtown Improvement Implementation and Eastern Dublin Arterial Street Improvements CIPso RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends that the City Council receive the reporto H/cc-forms/agdast mt. doc COPIES TO: ITEM NO.
