The adjustments required can be covered by reducing the amount appropriated to Reserves as discussed below. DESCRIPTION: As part of the process of reviewing the Preliminary Financial Reports for Fiscal Year 1999-2000, Staff noted several Capital Projects and Operating budget line items that were originally anticipated to be completed in Fiscal Year 1999-2000 but are now scheduled for completion in Fiscal Year 2000-2001. The savings realized in Fiscal Year 1999-2000 from the delays that occurred in these projects will be used to fund the additional requested appropriations in Fiscal Year 2000-2001. In order for Staff to be able to fully fund these projects in Fiscal Year 2000-2001, staff is recommending that the Mayor execute the attached budget change forms for the amounts noted above.
