PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
There are three proposed annexations now in progress. They represent the majority ofthe area within the
City's Sphere oflnfluence, which is not presently in the City.
1. QUarry Lane School. This annexation involves approximately 13 acres ofland located on the east side
of Tassajara Road immediately north of the existing city limits. The annexation area includes two
properties: the Quarry Lane School site and the Kobold property. This small annexation includes
Phase 1 of Quarry Lane School that recently opened with County approval, but must annex to the City
so that DSRSD can provide water and sewer service for Phase 2 of the school.
2. East Dublin. The annexation area is generally located north oflnterstate 580, between the existing
city limits (Fallon Road) and easterly of Doolan Road. The area consists of eight individual property
owners and 1,100 acres. This area would complete annexation of all remaining properties to the east
of the existing Dublin Ranch. Properties include Fallon Enterprises; Mandeville; Jordan; Croak; TMI;
Andersen; Righetti and Branaugh ownerships. Most property owners are participating in a joint effort
to process necessary entitlements to annex to the City.
3. North Dublin. This annexation comprises land located on either side of Tassajara Road, north of the
existing city limits and the proposed Quarry Lane School annexation. The exact land area and number
of properties involved has not been finalized, but will probably include the Jennifer Lin property
(Wallis Ranch), Silvera, Mission Peak, Redgewick, Moura, Vargas, Herrera, Haight and Nielsen
properties.
STATUS:
1. Quarry Lane School. The Prezoning and Annexation is tentatively scheduled to be heard by the City
Council on November 21, 2000.
2. East Dublin. For the purposes of the prezoning and annexation requests, Shea Properties (applicant),
is representing the eight property owners. Shea Properties is preparing the application submittal
including land plans and is tentatively scheduled to submit this material to the City in mid-November.
