' A PROCLAMATION OF THE CITY COUNCIL

WHEREAS, the Dublin Office of Vocational Education and the Tri-Valley
Regional Occupational Program coordinate with the administration of Dublin
High School to provide broader concepts of vocational education and career
preparation; and

"y ` WHEREAS, Vocational Educational programs in agriculture, consumer and home
economics, office education, and industrial arts provide high students with
v. . "lifelong" skills which explore student interest, provide skills for
' further use in college or at home and may lead to employment; and
ro 7' a '. WHEREAS, during this designated week, the Tri-Valley activities will ,'
H ' .; include: displays of student - work ;.at' the high schools, discussions by
tli Vocational Education teachers of_the ,.importance .of_ vocational education and

presentations to the Board of •Education, and f `
. , WHEREAS, through these 'activities it is1 ,,hoped that parents and the ,+ `

'` NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that I, Paul C. ' Moffatt, Mayor of the City
