Choy, Associate Planner Z/p01.f EXHIBITS ATTACHED: Exhibit A: Draft Ordinance Approving Dougherty Regional Fire Authority Rezone RECOMMENDATION: 1 _ 1) Open Public Hearing Receive Staff report and testimony from the Applicant and the Public 3) Question Staff, Applicant and the Public 4 ) Close Public hearing and deliberate 5) Waive second reading and adopt Ordinance FINANCIAL STATEMENT: None DESCRIPTION: On August 26 , 1991 the City Council adopted resolutions approving PA 91-042 Dougherty Regional Fire Authority General Plan Amendment and Conditional Use Permit and introduced an Ordinance approving the Dougherty Regional Fire Authority Rezone request. The application involves the rezoning of two contiguous parcels, which are to be combined to create a . 6 acre building site for the rebuilding of Dougherty Regional Fire Authority Fire Station #1 . The . application would rezone 1) the 15, 000 square foot existing DRFA Fire Station #1 site at 7494 Donohue Drive (APN 941-173-1-2) from R-S-D-20, Suburban Residential Combining District to C-1, Retail Business District and 2 ) the 13, 687 square foot proposed acquisition site at 7601 Amador Valley Boulevard (portion) (APN 941-173-1-6) from PD, Planned Development District to C-1, Retail Business District. Staff recommends that the City Council waive the second reading and adopt the Ordinance (Exhibit A) . CITY CLERK FILE ' 030 ITEM NO. COPIES TO: General/Agenda File Applicant/Owner Project Planner ORDINANCE NO. _ - 91 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF DUBLIN AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE TO PERMIT THE REZONING OF REAL PROPERTY LOCATED AT 7494 DONOHUE DRIVE AND 7601 AMADOR VALLEY BOULEVARD (PORTION) --------------------------------------------------------------------- The City Council of the City of Dublin does ordain as follows : Section 1 Chapter 2 of Title 8 of the Dublin Ordinance Code is hereby amended in the following manner: Combined parcels fronting on Donohue Drive containing approximately . 658 acres located at 7494 Donohue Drive, more specifically described as Assessor' s Parcel Number 941-173-1-2 , from the R-S-D-20 (Suburban Residential Combining) District to the C-1 (Retail Business) District; and a portion of the parcel at 7601 Amador Valley Boulevard contained within Assessor' s Parcel Number 941-173-1-6 , more specifically described by the legal description shown on Attachment 1A, from the PD (Planned Development) District to the C-1 (Retail Business) District.
