The subject property is known as the Kindergarten Building of the Fallon School Site and consists of approximately one-half acres. Property improvements consist of a one-story 2 , 650 square foot wood frame building and one 2411 x 60f1 portable classroom building. The property is currently leased by the District to Kaleidoscope Activity Center for disabled youth. Pursuant to Article 8 of Chapter 5 of Part 1 of Division 2 of Title 5 of the Government Code, the property must be offered for park or recreational purposes. Although the subject property is contiguous to Kolb Park and, if acquired, would become an extension of the Park, to do so would result in the displacement of Kaleidoscope. Therefore it is recommended that the City Council direct Staff to notify the Dublin Unified School District that the City is not interested in purchasing the property. --------- -- ------------------------------------------------------- ITEM NO.
