At that time, the City of Dublin was invited to become a member of the DSCA. By a unanimous vote of the Council, the City became a non-profit member of the DSCA, and paid a $25 membership fee. since 1987, there have been several official visits back and forth between the two cities. Gifts presented to the City of Dublin over the years are on display in the Civic Center lobby area. Bill Foster, President of the DSCA recently received a letter from John MCEVOY, Secretary of the Bray Sister City advising that their town council, the Bray Urban District council wishes to formally twin with the city of Dublin, California. The last paragraph asks that the Bray Urban District Council formerly twin with the City of Dublin. I'm not so sure that we haven't already done that in 1987. Just in case we haven't, would you bring this matter up before the council? I will be out of town at your next meeting. There is no question that we have benefited through this relationship. My only regret is that more citizens of our community have not taken advantage of this opportunity. Please advise me of the council's decision. If Dublin would like to fonnally twin the Bray perhaps you could let me know so that the necessary Council Resolutions can be proposed at our Urban Council meetings.
