Report by: Diane Lowart, Parks & Community Services Director EXHIBITS ATTACHED: None RECOMMENDATI~: f\ . ~rll) Accept improvements constructed under Contract 96-0SA l()'-' ,~ 2) Authorize payment to Team Glass in the amount of$ll,SOO FINANCIAL STATEMENT: PrQject Cost Window Replacement Vandal Resistant Film Total Total Available Funds Balance $11,500.00 2.571.00 $14,071.00 16.540.00 $ 2,469.00 DESCRIPTION: At the August 13, 1996 meeting of the Dublin City Council, the Council awarded .contract 96-0SA, the Shannon Community Center Window Replacement, to Team Glass. The project provided for the replacement and installation of 45 windows and 5 bathroom mirrors at the Shannon Community Center that were graffiti etched, as well as the application of a vandal-resistant film to the windows. " ,,' ~ The original contract with Team Glass was for $11,300. There was one change order for $200 to replace a window that was broken by vandals after the contract was awarded. The application of a vandal-resistant :film to the windows was performed under a separate contract and totaled $2,571. Thus, the total cost of the project was $14,071. The City Engineer has reviewed the work on the project and determined that it is complete and in accordance with the approved specifications. Therefore it is recommended that the City Council accept the improvements constructed under Contract 96-0SA and authorize payment to Team Glass in the amount of$ll,SOO. .------------------------------------------------------------------- .'
