* This work was completed under a separate contract.
DESCRIPTION: On March 3, 1998, the City Council awarded the Shannon
Community Center Painting, Project to R.G. Painting Company. This project provided for the re-
painting of the interior walls of the Shannon Center.
After several years of normal wear and tear, the walls of the Shannon Center required maintenance level
painting. This work was completed in the entry way, offices, class rooms, rest rooms, kitchen, hallways
and stairwell. Paint selected for this project was durable compared to industry standard and will serve the
Center well.
All work has been completed as per City plans and specifications. Staff recommends Council accept
improvements under contract 98-05 and authorize payment to R.G. Painting Company.
