DESCRIPTION: The Dublin Senior Center Foundation received a $2,500 grant from
the Tri-Valley Community Fund. With this funding, the Foundation purchased the following equipment
to be donated to the Dublin Senior Center.

Portable Salad Bar
Electric Soup Kettles (2)
Microwave Oven
Coffee Urn
Griddle
The Dublin Senior Center Foundation works closely with Staff to identify needs of the Dublin Senior
Center. This equipment is a welcome addition to the Dublin Senior Center kitchen which serves home-
cooked meals to area seniors five days per week.
Per Government Code Section 37354, it is recommended that all gifts and contributions be formally
accepted by the City Council. Therefore it is the recommendation of Staff that the City Council accept the
gifts from the Dublin Senior Center Foundation and direct Staff to prepare a formal acknowledgment to
the Foundation.

This letter presents the purchase of equipment for the Dublin Senior Center with the
grant received from the Tri-Valley Community Fund to the Dublin Senior Center Foundation:
Salad Bar
Two electric soup kettles
microwave oven
coffee urn
griddle
This equipment enables the Center to expand its lunch service to community seniors and
better serve clients at its various events.
We look forward to continuing to work with the City of Dublin to increase the quality of
