Thompson, Public Works Director ATTACHMENTS: 1) 2) Street Name List Location Maps RECOMMENDATION: ~ Review and approve proposed street names, or delete and select alternate names if any of the primary choices are not acceptable FINANCIAL STATEMENT: No cost to the City associated with naming of streets. The cost of processing Final Maps, as well as installation of street name signs, is paid by the developer(s). . DESCRIPTION: The developers of the first several tracts of the Dublin Ranch project are requesting that the City Council review and approve proposed street names. This request is being made prior to submittal of Final Maps for approval, as the developers would like to use the street names in their promotional material. Please note that there is an item for approval of Final Map for Tract 6960, Centex Homes (L-5), which follows this item on the agenda and includes these proposed street names in the resolution of approval. If the City Council determines that some or all of the proposed street names for Tract 6960 (L-5) should be changed, the resolution approving Final Map should be modified to reflect the approved street names. Formal approval of street names for the other subdivisions will occur at the time of Final Map approval. These names have been circulated to surrounding agencies and the post office, and the exhibits reflect names that are acceptable to these other entities. In the event that the City Council would prefer that some of these names not be used, alternates have also been included for consideration.
