This year, the construction of 10 handicap ramps was also included in the project funded by a Community
Development Block Grant (CDBG). It was noted at the time City Council authorized this project to go
out to bid that additional CDBG funds were available, and a Budget Change Form was approved in the
amount of $923. To maximize the use of the grant, Staff proposes to add the construction of two more
handicap ramps to this project.
A total of I0 bids were received. The low bidder was J.J.R. Construction, Inc., with a bid of $38,471.75.
Staffhas reviewed the bid results, checked with references, and recommends that the City Council adopt
