W74EREAS, Doris Fisher is a C~ossing Guard at Murray Elementary School, stationed at the interSection of Bonniewood Lane
and Davona Drive, in the City of Dublin; and ": .... '
WHEREAS, Doris Fisher has been named recipient of the 1998-99 Outstanding SchOol Crossing Guard Award by All City
Management Services, Inc., Schools'Pedestrian Crossing Guard Committee; and
WHEREAS, Doris Fisher bas continually displayed a concern for the safety of school c]~ildreh walking to and from Murray
Elementary School, and has provided loyal and valuable service as a Crossing Guard; and
WHEREAS, Crossing Guards have continued to provide fo~': 'the.safety~of school 'children in our community, and the
outstanding supe~ision provided by Doris Fisher has prombted traffic Safety education for children and motorists alike; and
WHEREAS, such distinguished and committed service to our co~hmunity;should not g~ unrecognized by the City of Dublin.
NO~I, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL V~D that the Dublin City' Council expresses its heartfelt appreciation to Doris Fisher for
her outstanding service to children in the community, and extends sincere congratulations and best wishes on her receipt of the
1998-99 Outstanding School Crossing Guard Award.
