ORDINANCE NO. 2
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF DUBLIN DESIGNATING THE PLACE
OF REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS
The City Council of the City of Dublin does ordain as follows:
SECTION 1 . The City Council will hold all regular meetings at the
Dublin Library, located at 7606 Amador Valley Boulevard in the City of
Dublin.
SECTION 2. If the regular meeting place is unable to accommodate
the number of persons in attendance, the Council may recess the meeting
to another place. If the Council anticipates the regular meeting place
will be inadequate, the Council , or the Mayor in the event of an
emergency, may order that the meeting be held in another place.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect immediately as an
urgency ordinance. The urgency is because of the following facts:.
A. The City of Dublin was incorporated February 1 , 1982;
B. Section 36808 of the Government Code requires the City Council
to designate a Council meeting place by ordinance
C. It is necessary to designate a meeting place immediately so
the City Council may take actions for the immediate preservation of
the public peace, health and welfare of the City's residents.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 1st day of February, 1982, by
the following vote:
