MEMORANDUM
DATE: February 16, 1984
TO: City Engineer
FROM: Chris D. Kinzel
SUBJECT: City of Dublin - Caltrans Meeting Issues
In my opinion , it would be a good idea to schedule a meeting between
Caltrans development and design personnel and representatives of the
City of Dublin to review pending issues on I-580 and I-680. These
issues are as follows :
1. Schedule and details of proposed I-680 widening from six lanes to
eight lanes .
2. Provisions for sound walls along widened section.
3. Status of I-680/Alcosta Boulevard improvements.
4. Status of new access from I-680 to City of Dublin near Dublin
Boulevard or Amador Valley Boulevard.
5. Status of I-680/I-580 Interchange improvements.
6. Status of I-580/San Ramon Road off ramp signalization and
modification.
I would be happy to schedule such a meeting should you concur.

Dear Mr. Ambrose:
This letter is in response to a copy of your letter of

included in the 1984 State Transportation Improvement Program
(STIP) .
We have looked at some of the possibilities for the suggested
improvements and will be happy to meet with you to discuss this.
