FINANCIAL STATEMENT: $60 . 00 Permit Fee
DESCRIPTION The Dublin-San Ramon Lions Club has submitted a
request to conduct a parade on Saturday, March 17 , 1984 .
The parade route has been reviewed by Police Services and tentative
arrangements have been made to have 22 Reserve Police Officers available .
The parade is scheduled to take place from 11 : 00 a .m. to 1 : 00 p.m. The
Reserve Officers should provide adequate coverage for . traffic safety and
crowd control . The parade is scheduled to begin at Dublin High School and
proceed to Dublin Boulevard with disbanding taking place along Amador Valley
Plaza.
Also attached is a request for a waiver of fees.* The usual fee for this
type of event is $60 . 00 . In the past the City Council has waived the fee
for non-profit organizations conducting a community-wide event. The Lion ' s
Club plans .would meet these criteria . Z -: - .

Duties of Pernittee: A permittee hereunder shall comply_with all permit
directions and conditions and with all applicable laws and ordinances. Tile
.parade chairman or other person heading or leading such activity shall carry
the parade permit upon his person during the conduct of the parade.
Revocation of Permit: The Police shall have the authority to -rev oke the
permit issued hereunder when any of the operations .or, conduct of such parade
violate any of the conditions listed in the contents_of_such .permit.
"The Dublin Police or its agents, by their issuance of .this .permit disclaim:
any responsibility or legal liability in the event.,of .in3ury=or'property
damage which may arise out -of the activities authorized. by -the issuance
of this permit"

held on Saturday March 17, 1984. Our organization is a non profit service
club whose activities include projects and contributions for the benefit
of the community and the people of the community. As a non profit club
we hereby request that you waive all fees normally charged in connection
with the granting of a parade permit.
