CITY COUNCIL MEETING DATE: March 26 , 1984
SUBJECT ABAG Dues
EXHIBITS ATTACHED ABAG 1984-1985 Assessment Invoice
RECOMMENDATION Authorize a budget transfer from the Contigent Reserve
to the City Council"Dues and Membership" account in
the amount of $1 , 105 . 00 .
FINANCIAL STATEMENT: An additional $1 . 105 . 00 for memberships and dues will
need to be transferred from the Contingent Reserve .
DESCRIPTION At the regular City Council meeting on March 12 , 1984 ,
the Council received a report on a proposed increase in the ABAG assessment .
The ABAG General Assembly met on March 16 , 1984, and approved the increased
assessment . The .1983-84 budget was based on an assessment of $755 . 00 .
Therefore, it will be necessary to transfer $1 , 105 . 00 from the contingent
reserve to the City Council "Dues and Memberships" account .
